It gives advice of 6 things to buy after Christmas!
I think I'll be on the look out for good things after we celebrate Christmas!

1. Baking Ingredients
During the holidays, supermarkets and discount stores load up on baking supplies to meet shoppers’ demands. Afterward - when you just can’t face another gingerbread man - these stores slash their prices out of necessity. “It’s a great time to stock up on chocolates, spices, flour, sugar, the basics,” says Freeman. The chocolate may be colored green and red, but it tastes the same!
2. Electronics
The Annual International Consumer Electronics Show runs the first week of January. That’s when companies roll out all their new models of computers, cameras, cell phones, printers … you name it. While early adapters salivate over the newest and latest tech gadgets, January is a great time for everyone else to buy the most recent models - which will, no doubt, be discounted heavily to make room for the new. ”If you don’t take advantage of the Christmas deals, don’t worry. After Christmas, everything’ll be on sale!” says Freeman. Last year Walmart offered shoppers a $50 gift card when they bought Microsoft Xbox 360 through January 1.
3. Winter Clothes & Accessories
There will be no shortage of discounts at department stores and clothing retailers - especially on hats, scarves, boots, winter coats and wool socks. Invest wisely by opting for non-trendy staples that will last you another winter or three.
4. Refurbished Goods
Expect stores’ “refurbished” bins - where returned appliances and gadgets get a 10 to 20% discount - to be well-stocked after the holidays, as people return unwanted gifts. One note of caution: Only buy refurbished items from reputable dealers that offer a manufacturer’s warranty. Sony, Dell, Amazon, Apple and Kitchen Aid are all in the refurbishing business.
5. Holiday Cards, Wrapping Paper, Ornaments
This one’s obvious. Expect discounts of 50 to 90%. A tip on the wrapping paper - go for a solid color, instead of a sheet with Christmas trees or dreidels. Gold, green, blue or red wrapping paper, while seasonal, can also be used throughout the year.
6. Calendars
Can you wait a few extra days to get organized? It’s almost a given that Borders and Barnes & Noble will have their 12-month calendars on sale the first weeks of January. I’ve spotted their buy-one-get-one-free or “All Calendars $1″ deals throughout the years, appearing right around New Year’s Day.

Weekend Plans

This was a BIG elevator!!!

One more shopping trip!

So I love my boyfriend no doubt about it! He went with me and he let me shop and he payed (for at least half of the stuff!) First we - no I - went to Victoria's secret because I had a coupon for a free panty and I decided to buy some new underwear and a new bra. I wanted to get a couple of them but I couldn't find my size! I was pissed! And sometimes on the site I can't find my size either so... yeah. But The best part is that I got a bra (I think it's the IPEX bra), six pairs of VS cotton panties (one was free) and a free tote to boot! Since my whole purchase was $50 exactly (after my coupons and $10 gift card that VS sent me in the mail!) I got the free tote which is really cute! I was looking for a new purse and i found one! Yay!

So after VS and we went to Payless and couldn't find any good shoes at a good price. Then we went to Wal-Mart *I love that store!* and found so much cute stuff and got it for under $60!!!

This is a hat that I tried on but didn't get... but definitely might go back for it because I thought I looked horrible in it when I saw this pic but ... it's kinda growin on me!



Then I decided to be goofy and try on these hats... as you can tell my boyfriend was NOT amused!


After about an hour in the store Kevin was getting tired and he didn't feel good so we went home. Isn't he a such a good boyfriend to be carrying all of my stuff??? I love this man!

What we did buy at wal-mart was the really cute green sweater (which Kevin kept telling me to buy PURPLE pants to go with it... yeah he's not much of a fashion guru!
Then he bought me the green pj's which the pants are so fluffy and look very comfy (i didn't wear it because i like to wash my clothes before I wear them!). Then right before i took the pic Kevin goes "you have to show the nyquil!" so that is nyquil in his hand. And on his other hand is three pairs of flats that were only $9!!! they are in right now and are soooo comfy!

So there you have it! My shopping extravaganza!
Gotta love shopping and I love Kevin for being strong and bearing with me!

First day of school...

So I had my first official day of classes. In college it's weird to say college cuz it's not school... but yet it is at the same time. Anyway, I have some pics from the other day.

This is what I bought at Yankee Candle and it's very cute. I will have to sometime this coming weekend/week/holiday go over there and buy some more tarts. I think I'm down to one tart from my last trip there. I know - I only got four but they are so delicious when they burn. Some of them didn't get to smell as much because my grams was cooking so her food smells overpowered the tarts - in a very good way! haha

Here are my two cousins who are visiting and we were relaxin' after a day at the promenade.

They've been fun to have around. They have so much energy-especially the one in pink!

Well Peds is going alright as of now.

Nothing new to report.

I will try to get some more thoughts in later today but right now I am going to eat some breakfast cuz I had an early meeting then I came to the gym so I haven't eaten! I'm so darned hungry!
