is it snowing where u are right now?

so it is supposed to snow today...

we have a winter storm warning until 4 PM MONDAY!

ugh. snow. yuck... haha.

i'm just so tired of it.

can spring come already???

there is snow in places that haven't had snow in forever like in the pic above.

plus someone just told me we're supposed to get 6-10 inches.

but ... they said that before about a month and a half ago... and we got maybe 2 inches... pityful weather people-predictions. can never get it fully right.

maybe this will be the one time of ALL winter that they do.

will try to update then on the weather outside.

right now at work i am enclosed and there are NO windows so i have no idea what is awaiting for me once i get off at 5 pm.

we'll see...

things to do today:

-get gas in car {before snowfall}

-shower

-change into non-scrub clothes

-go out on a dinner date

{kevin asked me on a dinner date today when I called on my break... i love it when he asks me out on a date... especially because we're going on our 4th year as a couple in July... =)

we're going to Applebee's and gettin' the 2 entrees and 1 appetizer for $20. it's a good deal when it is a party for two. but i will do the sensible eating. if we get a "fattier" appetizer then I will get a WW meal or some baked chicken or something ...}

Our date at Q-Mart

We went to Q-Mart and found some pretty cool things. Didn't buy much but this is what we saw:

There were a lot of different pieces of photography that were so cool and great. I left my camera at Kevin's house so the other pics will be up then. Some are so funny... Kevin found them.
Of course Breakfast at Tiffany's. L-O-V-E that movie!!!!!

Kevin's main reason to go to Q-Mart was to find this game...
The pic above is me just following him around since I really could care less about video games.

But since I love him I went along. Plus he bought me food... and ice cream. Yummmm!!!

He's such a cutie!

Yeah... he was looking for these type of cartridges as well.

He has A LOT of different video game systems... don't ask how many.

I believe he lost count after 10.... not kidding.

Kid in a comic store. He doesn't read a lot of them but he still loves his comics.

Spiderman. Superman. X-Men.

All those type of super heroes.

Found this (^) sign funny and cute.

Kevin likes the Simpsons but don't think he ever read/has the actual comic books.

My aunt LOVES Mickey Mouse and I found these really cute PEZ dispensers.

She loves to collect any type of Mickey Mouse stuff so this would be perfect.

Her bday is coming up... in summer... but still. It would be cool and cute as a bday present.

Kevin loves KUNG FU PANDA and he pointed these out.

And how CRAZY is this collection of PEZ dispensers! I don't even know how many of them are.

Didn't ask the guy either... he didn't seem too friendly...

And all this stuff (bottom pic) was all Kevin's interest... But just the swords and batarangs...

Yep. They had batarangs.

Cool... but ... I would hope that Kevin would not buy them... he wouldn't...

I hope.

After about an hour or two I needed to sit down.

So we did! Put our feet up and everything. The couch was somewhat comfy.

And we found these funky Obama dollars... well $0...

When we were about to leave, Kevin pointed out these

Three Wise Monkeys.

Kevin really like-- no wait.

Kevin LOVES monkeys... at least points them out ALL the time when we see a monkey statue, rug, picture, toy etc...

That was our sites at Q-mart.

We had fun and it was something out of the ordinary that we did.

We usually just stay in or go to the local mall.

I loved this outing.

One more date for the record books.

*baking and wrapping*

These were some of the cookies I made today... I was baking pretty much for about two to three hours straight!

Yum!

Then it was time to wrap presents and we did good. (Kev was getting really tired though... as was I)Still need to wrap up more presents though.

How cute is Kev though? (he's a HUGE Simpson's fan) Gotta love the wrapping paper (and his Pilsbury doughboy shirt!)

Last but not least this is the wonderful smiley face my dad made with tape I used to put lights up with. (he did not like how I put the lights along the side of our stairs... *SIGH*)

But at least he put the tape to good use. The smiley face will be there for awhile... hehe
