Date night... continued

So we went to Best Buy, five Below, then to Target.

Here are some pics from Target:

Kevin wanted to be funny and try to take me away from the jewelry section of Target.

I had to take a silly picture.

hehe

Then I modeled for him in different hats.

He's good at telling me what fits and what looks good on me.

He couldn't tell me yay or nay about the hats... because I don't wear them all the time.

...

This was a plain black one.

Not too bad... I think.

Then this one... yeah.

Kevin told me to try this one on.

Then I said: "What am I goin' fishin'?"

He goes: "Maybe..."

So I did the fishing pose...

I'm a dork.

We both are dorks.

Then I tried this one on.

Kevin said I looked like I was going to work in a coal mine.

I started singing this song.

Kevin was getting tired of me trying/modeling hats ...

until we turned the corner and found these.

I don't know if I could go country.

We got tired again so we sat on these wick-type chairs.

They were... not so comfy... but somewhat nice looking.

We finally got to Kevin's favorite section of pretty much any store we go to:

video game/DVD/video system section.

I found this cute DS lite travel purse.

Oh how Nintendo tries to please everyone.

I showed Kevin and he said I looked like a state trooper...

As we were walking outside and heading to our car, Kevin had to point out these two monkeys and what we believe is a penguin (the blue one).

It was an awesome date night.

We always have fun when we go to stores randomly without any specific plans.

Sorry for not letting you know a little sooner. We have both been calling our family and friends since it happened. It all went down around 10:30 this morning. After getting out of bed, I grabbed the ring from where I had been hiding it for nearly two months. Being my birthday, I just finished opening my presents from my girlfriend. I then got the laptop out to check the weather, and we started to look at the secrets.

I was actually very nervous/excited as we scrolled down the page. As we got to it, my girlfriend asked what the card above ours was a picture of. I was somewhat concerned she had already seen ours, but she hadn't. I then scrolled down to our card. She was looking at the card for a while, and then looked at me. At the time, she was wondering if that was really our cat or not.

I then reached into my pocket, took out the ring box, and got down on one knee. Before I even asked, she kissed me. She was crying, and my eyes also started to tear up. I then took her hand and asked her to marry me. Her answer was yes!!! I then had to go into a discussion of how it all came to be. She was definitely surprised by the date of the proposal as well as my method of proposing. Frank, I would like to thank you again for your agreeing to do this.

It couldn't have been better. The date is set for March 13, 2010 .

How cute is that???

Kevin got a boo boo...

So... Kevin got home from work the other day and said:

"My knee is bleeding... it's no biggie though."

{which kinda made me freak... then he explained he just nicked it with a drawer at work... i still freaked... hmm... i should ask him later if he's had his tetanus shot within the last 10 years...}

And then he decided to give me a band-aid and neosporin and put on a sad face and said:

"Fix me please."

I am a nursing student after all... haha.

He was so cute... And i got to kiss his boo boo which made him feel better too.

Silly boyfriend of mine... and his SUPERMAN pants.

So we went to see Marley & Me today... SO SAD but the greatest movie I have seen this year... (hehehe).

And yes this isn't Marley but this is Odie. He isn't doing so good these days... Both Kev and I are VERY upset about it... actually it's pretty much all the family is upset about it. Ain't he CUTE??? Odie is so comforting and loving. He always wags his tail at me when I get to Kev's house and always is there to greet me.

I love this puppy sooo much... and Kev loves him so much more...

So if you've ever lost a doggie how do you suggest we "prepare" for ... you know... his passing away... I'm even getting teary eyed as I think about it right now.

Please send suggestions... need all the help I can get.
