What have I been up to?

Well probably updated since these have happened but will tell anyway...

1. Went to a David Cook concert. Very awesome. But very short concert and he didn't do a encore song! We were all very disappointed!

Went with these two great ladies Lauren and Tina:
And this handsome guy was kind enough to tag along... Doesn't he seem SO excited??? haha!

(see more of my Dave Cook vids here!)

2. Cut my hair and put highlights in it!

How does it look? Good? Bad? Yay or Nay?
3. Did I mention I went to Niagra Falls??? Well ... I did!

Surprisingly enough I took this picture with my digital camera! I L.O.V.E. it!!! Looks like a painting! So pretty!
{check out my video from Maid of the Mist that I went on with my cousins...}

Tis all for now.
Have to run some errands for school and work.
Hope to blog later!
It was a wonderful time to be in the blogging world again!
Hope you don't make yourself a stranger now either!

I love reading and especially any comments left here!

Randomness...

So I am very random so here are a few posts in one.

I am trying to clear my pictures on my phone and I just don't think I should make separate posts about these.

So here goes:

Man. When I saw this on my way to the mall with Kevin I was praying we came to a red light because I needed to get a pic of this car.
My mom and I used to have a car like this (with the roof of the car on the inside peeling off).
It just brought me back to my childhood and made me laugh and make my boyfriend think I am more of a dork... haha!

In late-April, Baskin Robbin's was selling $0.31 ice cream scoops.

It was yummy but wish it was a better day: weather-wise.

Days before this it was hot like no other and on this day it was so cold I need a jacket and a scarf.

But it was fun!

Kev n i invited his oldest niece and nephew (Jess and Justin) to go get some ice cream. They loved it as much as we did.

Now this pic was taken inside of Toy R Us.

What made me take a picture of all of these exercise equipments was the fact that I don't even use some of this crap.

Yes I should exercise more and I do use the exercise ball to stretch and sit ups but...

Really? Do kids REALLY need all these things to strength train or do push ups or use a parachute (which I still don't know what they use it for!!!???!!! can anyone help???)

I mean yes there is obesity in young kids and yes they should get up and do stuff... but... shouldn't it be stuff like playing basketball, baseball, kickball, jump rope, swimming, taking a walk or doing things with parents???

I mean, those bands on the middle shelf are DANGEROUS and you need the supervision of an adult to make sure they don't hit themselves in the eye!!! I'd be scared to use it myself!

The only time I ever used a band like that was a few weeks ago in a yoga class and the instructor kept telling us PLEASE be careful every 20 seconds as we were doing the exercise.

And now Reebok has invented this for kids????? I mean WTF!??!?!?!?!

Can anyone explain this to me?

Does this make sense to you?

Am I being a little too crazy to find that this is crazy way for kids to lose weight???

Please PLEASE shed some light for me about this.

I'd appreciate it!

This store has been around for forever but I have never been inside it!

So my 'virginity' to this store was broken the other day.

I might just like this a bit more than their competition H.D.

What do you guys think?

Lowe's or H.D.???

They had really pretty flowers and their prices were really awesome as well!

See. I told you it was randomness like no other!

Hope it was fun for you like it was for me! {haha}

Tuesday

Yep. I did it.

{pic from here}
I went to the gym!
Hoorah!
Who said I couldn't do it? Huh? HUH???
Anywho, let's see if I keep at it the rest of this week!
Can I?
Will I?
Well I should - unless I want to weight too much and then my heart will stop working...
I don't want that to happen.
I kinda need my heart.
It kinda keeps me going every day.
Especially when I need to be a hopeless romantic and cry at the cheesy romantic and cute commercials.
Plus I need it to pump blood to the rest of my body.
That would help as well.
So if I don't exercise my heart might get clogged and that isn't right because my heart has been good to me.
It doesn't deserve the fat and grease I feed it every time I pop a french fry in my mouth.
It really is taken for granted the heart.
I can't feel it unless Irun up the stairs and are running out of breath by the time I hit the second floor of a 3 floor apt complex...
Or up the one set of flight of stairs to my room from the living room.
So really. It's not just to look good that we should all workout.
It's to give that great organ of ours a little help.
Help that it has always asked of us silently as it sits there between membranes, tissues, muscles, bones and lungs.
Give your heart a little love every once in awhile.
Go workout.
Make it beat fast so it can speak to you - it will thank you later - when you can no longer move as fast as you can now.
Enjoy the endless possibilities that your heart gives you while your young.
Because once you decide to grow up and stop caring for yourself and start caring for those around you, your heart will care for you because it knows that you cared for it once.
When you were young. When you went to workout. When you ran that extra 30 seconds on that treadmill. When you thought you were gonna fall off but didn't and at the end of the run how great it was to feel the sweat roll down your brow to your cheek.
See the heart remembers that. Even though you just think it's sheer hurtful at that moment, your heart is content to be exercising itself and get extra strength to help you out when you forget about it.
The heart is caring.
So care for your heart now.
Stop eating that cheeseburger and fries and milkshake.
Go workout.
